Job Description

To properly identify and account for packaged product and help coordinate production flow. Cleaning of plant equipment as directed.


Property fill out pallet tickets to maintain accurate count of packaged product. Communicate with production staff to maintain correct packing and sales requirements. Ensure each pallet has a proper pallet I.D. ticket indicating product type, and package size before leaving production area. Forward appropriate paperwork to supervisor. Clean plant equipment with scrub pads, brushes and towels during facility cleaning cycles. May be asked to rotate to a different area of the plant (same position and shift) based on business need. Perform general cleaning, housekeeping and other duties as assigned by leads or supervisors.


Continuous use of both hands; including grasping, pulling and pushing. Sight, hearing, lifting, standing, climbing stairways, walking and balancing both feet on even and uneven surfaces, bending, twisting, crawling, stooping, kneeling, reaching forward, reaching overhead, reaching below shoulder, wrist turning, neck turning. Must be able to work in cold temperatures. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lb-50lbs.

Able to safely and efficiently lift and stack 25-75lb. bags or cartons of product. Must be able to read, identify and count packages to ensure proper palletization of cartons and master bags. Ability to understand and follow food safety requirements. Must be able to perform sanitation and cleaning tasks and duties as assigned. Must pass physical and functional capacity evaluation. Must comply with equipment specific safety policies, including proper PPE use and properly apply lock out tag out procedures as instructed.
